Okay, what makes a site a "porno tube" anyway?
I have been pondering this for an age, what are the de facto requirements for a "porno tube" site anyway? Surely not just 'hosting a bunch of videos', or my hard drive counts! Is it the upload/download ratios? I guess the community aspect matters, with comments and ratings, but I could see arguments against that. Ultimately, what technical & community features must be in place to qualify as a "tube"?

It's amazing how these sites have evolved from simple repositories of videos to complex ecosystems. You know, the constant need for fresh content drives a whole economy of content creation and distribution. What started as a hobby became industrialized. The amount of storage and bandwidth these sites require is massive.
